Spend your summer exploring the rugged beauty of the Black Hills — from Mount Rushmore and Crazy Horse Memorial to the countless trails, towns, and hidden gems scattered across this frontier — all while work camping with us.

We’re a family‑owned outfit looking for 2–3 work‑camper couples or singles to join our guest service team from May through September. Positions include store/registration, housekeeping, groundskeeping, and maintenance.

⭐ The Work

This is a volunteer position with no monetary pay. Each person contributes 25 hours per week.

Duties include:

• Store/registration: greeting guests, helping with check‑ins, light housekeeping in the store, laundry room, and bathhouses

• Outdoor/maintenance: mowing, trimming, escorting guests to sites, delivering bundled firewood, and general upkeep

Our campground sits on a tiered hillside, so outdoor work requires the ability to handle hilly, rocky terrain while using equipment like a weed‑whacker.
