Rules and Regulations

 

                                    The following rules were established to maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety and maintenance, with a "Good Neighbor Policy" in mind.  Your compliance is very much appreciated and will ensure a pleasant stay for all guests.  Management and staff reserve the right to refuse service to anyone noncompliant with campground rules and regulations.  All activities in the campground are done at the individual's free will and Custer Crazy Horse Campground is not be responsible for accidents or injury to guests, or for loss of money or valuables of any kind.

 

NO REFUNDS AFTER CHECK IN

 

SPEED LIMIT:  IS 5 MPH THROUGHOUT THE CAMPGROUND AND IS STRICKLY ENFORCED; FIRST WARNING IS GIVEN AT CHECK-IN, SECOND OFFENCE YOU WILL BE REMOVED FROM THE CAMPGROUND.  NO EXCEPTIONS

 

Children:  Are the responsibility of the parents/guardians at ALL times.  Please do not let children play with the water spigots.  All children under the age of 10 must be accompanied to the restroom by a responsible party.

 

Private Property:  As our guests, please respect our property and keep all motorized vehicles on the roads. 

 

Sites:  NO vehicle repairs on site.  DO NOT wash your car or RV on/in the campground.

 

Quite Time:  Is 10:00 pm to 8:00 am daily.  Please be considerate of other campers and keep music, voices and other noises to a minimum during quite time.

 

Camp Fires: Are permitted, but only in the fire tings provided.  DO NOT move rings unless approved by staff.  NEVER leave a fire unattended and extinguish it before 

turning in for the night or leaving the campground.  We have numerous fire extinguishers placed throughout the campground to be used in emergency situations only.

 

Firewood: If for sale at the office.  There is no cutting of trees or branches permitted on the campground or from our neighbor's properties.  South Dakota state law prohibits moving any type of wood from other states due to invasive insects and diseases.  If firewood is brought from another state, we require you to burn all of it ASAP! Or we can confiscate it and dispose of it properly for you.

 

Pets:  Are family too!  However, they must be kept on a leash at all times.  PLEASE CLEAN UP AFTER YOUR PET!  If any pet demonstrates aggressive behavior toward another pet or camper, you will be asked to leave the campground.  No excessive barking!  Pets must not be left in a tent or cabin alone.

 

Pool:  Hours are from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm Memorial Day through Labor Day.  No lifeguard on duty.  Swim at your own risk.  No diving into pool.  Glass containers and food are not allowed inside the pool fence.  No disposable diapers in the pool; swim diapers must be used.  Children under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult of 18 or over.

 

Visitors: Must register at the office upon arrival, a staff member will direct visitor to the closest area to your site.  All visitors must have a car pass visibly placed on the review mirror.

WIFI -  Is slow and limited

NO SMOKING in any building including cabins, deckhouse, restroom, laundry, showers or store.

FIREWORKS:  Black Hills Fire Protection STRICKLY PROHIBITS  the use of fireworks.

Check Out is 11:00 am.  This is not an optional time.
